Gopalan Nair mugged by Singapore police part 2
Mr Gopalan Nair a blogger in support of Singapore opposition was interviewed on 6.July.2008 at Bishan Junction 8 McDonald fast-food regarding how he was mugged by under-cover Singaporean Police on US Independence Day 4th July.2008 in the evenings. Mr. Gopalan was charged and imprisoned by Lee Kuan Yew regime for contempt of court and disorderly behavior. It seem that Lee Kuan Yew’s police mugged and framed and arrested him for his support towards opposition and defiance against Lee’s LEEgime. I interviewed him after he took part in Tak Boleh Tahan which is opposition SDPs’ campaign, and he was hungry after a morning of campaign, we had some fast-food during the interview. Mr. Nair is current a lawyer in California.
Oh what a creative piece of productive placement for McDonalds this! They say a delicacy is only as good as the next best dish. Guess when one’s palate is attuned to the constant garbage that spews out of one’s mouth, even the passage of a mere burger would seem gastronomically divine. May I suggest curry sauce to go with the fries? After all the embitterment he’s swallowed, the least he deserves is some spice in his life.
